GREENSBORO, NC (July 16, 2014) - KMW Builders, a full-service construction company based in Greensboro, N.C., has a new vice president. Company President John Kavanagh announced Kevin Sasser’s promotion from senior project manager to vice president.

Sasser has been with KMW since its 2009 inception. In the role of vice president, he will oversee management and operations of the company as well as budgeting and cost control.

“Kevin’s appointment as VP provides our clients with direct access to leadership,” Kavanagh said. “As we expand into new areas, we can grow confidently, knowing that he has a track record of innovative building, adding value to projects large and small.”

KMW completes projects across the Carolinas for a range of industries including affordable housing, multi-family housing and senior living. As a licensed general contractor, LEED AP and certified renovator, Sasser brings diverse skills and knowledge to overall operations.

“KMW is positioned for growth and I am excited about the opportunity to serve the needs of our customers,” Sasser said. “It is our vision to be the most respected apartment builder in the Carolinas.”

Sasser and the KWM team recently celebrated the completion of Terrace at Rocky Knoll, an affordable family housing project in Greensboro, N.C. For Greensboro residents, this project offers 48 energy-efficient units and a community center.

“The Greensboro area continues to grow in popularity for families and seniors,” Sasser explained. “It is our goal to provide these populations with high-quality, affordable housing options – options that foster community among residents.”
